okay i have auburn hair in the dark it looks brownish red but in the sunlight it shines red(not carrot top red).i have pale skin and freckles(but kind of faded in as i got older) do you think this is pretty??

i always get comments that i have beautiful hair but my skin is always you need a tan or dang your white and i hate that

I have the same hair/skin combo. Personally, I think its pretty. If I do want to look like I have colour tho, I use bronzer and go tanning. But embrace the hair and the skin - its a beautiful combination!

anything can be made pretty and i think it is pretty. in fact there are ppl out there who prefer not to tan ever...cos they like pale skin.

ive always loved girls with red hair, and well about the skin i like girls the way they are, so if youre white you're meant to be that way and if a boy is going to like you hes supposed to like you the way you are

red hair with pale skin and freckles are a bad combo and is not an attractive look for me. but that is only my opinion. someone out there loves your look. so it all depends on what people like.

ps. i would recommend on not giving into the tanning thing. its just going to ruin your skin in the long run and you are going to regret it.

Personally I have dark brown hair and I prefer tanning because it builds my self esteem.

Personally, I think a paler complexion is more suitable with many shades of red hair. Often (not always), a tan looks artificial on red heads and I find that less appealing.

However....

Physical appearance just happens to be one more common catalysts for starting a relationship. It rarely plays much of a role in the longevity of a meaningful relationship.

It is fine and good that you want to look pretty. I'm sure you are very pretty. Most women are much more attractive than they realize. But remember, surface appearance is secondary. Don't lose sight of the most important things.
