Red Hair..Issues.?

I'm not a natural red head, but I have been dyeing my hair red for the LONGEST time probably since I started dying my hair. HOWEVER..I have the issue about keeping in the color. I would have thought that by now it would have perminated but it hasn't. It still washes out in the middle of the 2 week cycle.. What can I do..?

Well I am sure you've kinda figured out now, that red is the fastest fading color. This is because the molecular structure of the molecule in red is smaller. What I would suggest is to try some of the color enhancing shampoo for red hair. I know there is alot on the market now, and matrix just came out with a new line called memory shades. They have the shampoo, conditioner, and even a mouse, all to help enhance and keep your color looking fresher for longer. Also using a good color treated shampoo and conditioner will help. Red is the nicest color to have and the hardest to keep! (sounds like man) lol..However Pantine just came out with a new product for Red Heads. You can try that they also have a once a week renual it's a conditioner you put in and leave for about 3 min. Then rinse its supposed to rejuvinate your color. GOOD LUCK..fellow Red Head.!
