i got my hair done 2weeks ago and it was soppous to be dark brown but it came out black i been washing my hair everyday since then and it hasnt faded

if i put red or blonde over it will if give it a lighter tint?

i just want it like 2 shades lighter

What I would do is I'd buy some hair bleach. You put it on your hair and let it only stay on there for a few minutes, until you see it lightening up just the littlest bit and then you wash your hair out, that will definitely lighten it up. You can also buy hair dyes that are made for dark hair to lighten it up. You can buy those at a drug store, wal mart or a beauty supply store :)

I used to have this problem lol. Only bleaching will take it out, and that will turn it red. You're just going to have to keep washing it and let it fade gradually....black never comes out and cannot be covered lol! :(

no it won't ... it'll make it darker if you use red ...and blonde will fry it ... try adding some highlights ... but don't leave them on too long thinking they'll look better ... less is more here ... but do your whole head ... don't chunk ... give it a week or so to start lightening ... and go in the sun as much as you can ;)

My Mom tryed that and it didn't work. Her hair just looked dark red and kind of blotchy. Who knows though, maybe you can get a stylist that can fix it.

If you had it done at a salon t they should fix it for free

You can try using dish deterent to wash your hair ( it strips out the color ) or lightens it

Or a couple of capfuls of hydrogen peroxide ( will lighten it) taught to me by a hair dresser.

I have had this same problem and it comes from Over dying my hair . Hair is porous and overtime it soaked up the dye color. I generally have to strip my hair and start over .
