I dye my hair a deep reddish color with henna and I have a red dress for prom. The dress is like a really bright red and is almost an orange in some lights. Will the colors clash or will they look ok together?

i think they would clash, maybe you should've tried a green dress. my best friend has red hair and bought a really pretty greenish-brownish dress and the colors looked wonderful together

It would clash but as a fellow red head your best bets would be emerald green, black, silver/gray, royal blue, Purple, or brown

Green looks fantastic on redheads. Blue isn't bad, too. Why don't you try the dress on and see what you think? It's hard to say without actually seeing it. Honestly, the reason red-orange is bad for redheads is more because of skin tone. Since you're not a natural redhead, it may work. Try it on in varying lights and then decide.
