Will my children have red hair?

I'm a male. My brother and I have red hair. Our parents don't. My wife's hair is brunette, her parents brunette (father) and blonde (mother). None of her sisters have red hair, and no other known relatives do. She seems to think our children might have red hair.

Will my children have red hair?

That depends. There are many possiblities. There is a 3 to 4 chance that they might, and a 1 in 4 that they do not.

Will my children have red hair?

there are chances, coz you got your genes passed to them

Will my children have red hair?

could be.

you got red hair

if your mother in law is blonde, so your wife got blonde hair genes, even if she's a brunette

so manybe your child will have red hair.

that happend with a friend of mine :

her and her husband are brunettes

but her dad gor red hair

and both her children got red hair too

Will my children have red hair?

If she has "red gene" (it is recessive you could not know) it is possible.

Will my children have red hair?

This is purely genetical as it is a inherited trait. If you hair color genes are dominant than your wife's hair color, of course you can expect red colored hair in your children too. You can always calculate this probablity to genotype probabability chart.

Will my children have red hair?

It depends on whether or not the gene for red hair is dominant over the gene for brown hair. It also depends on whether or the genes that you have for red hair are heterozygous or homozygous
