Red hair dyes....for males.?

Visit your local Sally Beauty Supply store.

Look for Clairol Professional Second Nature #155R. Mix this with 20 volume developer, process 30 minutes and you will have a rich red.

If you want to prevent the sides from being too red or too bright, mix a neutral base with your red. So, you would have 2 formulas to apply to your head.

Formula#1: for the brown area of your head - just apply 155R/5R with 20 volume.

Formula#2: for the blonde area of your head - mix 1oz 155R/5R with 1oz 137N/6N and 2oz of 20 volume.

The added neutral base with the red, will keep your hair from turning bright red or pink.

Just choose a dark red color, like a very dark auburn. The hair dyes made for males are no different than the types made for females.

Simply appy the color to the light parts of your hair first so it has longer to soak in so to speak. Or just pay the extra money to go have it professionally done.

Good luck!
