Oh Karen No please leave your beautiful hair colour alone.
However, if you must get it done professionally.

red hair can sometimes be tricky to lighten or highlight, so i say you skip the trouble, or the trauma of a bad result, and go to a salon. it may cost a bit more, but it will definatly be worth it. :)

The sun makes hair lighter. Just remember to put suncream on in hot weather.

Well, you can go to a hair salon and ask for about two shades lighter if you want to highlight your red hair, but incase taht has bleach in it, you can go to a store like Target and buy one of those self-dyers. Lol. It comes in a package and you put it on your hair (wearing gloves) were you wanted highlighted and suff. My friend tried bleach on her brunette hair and it turned almost blonde; and it looked so bad so she used this self-highlighter to tone it down a bit nad make it blend. it looks really great. Good luck!! %26lt;3
